Job Description – Stock Control & Planning

Reports to – Operations Director – Irl & UK

Working Conditions: Office based with travel

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a reliable stock controller who will take responsibility for the management, planning and reporting of all stock held in the EVO warehouses ensuring accurate information is supplied to the relevant parties in a timely and efficient manner.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage relationship with suppliers and partners to ensure optimal commercial performance.
  • Manage, optimise & coordinate full order cycle.
  • Manage stock levels at sufficient levels for the Irish & UK businesses to operate the day to day businesses.
  • Work with planning/logistics team to identify shortfalls and crease solutions.
  • Responsible for planning, forecasting, budgeting and reporting processes.
  • Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements.
  • Produce stock reports including SLA reporting, cost analysis, project reviews and opportunity analysis.
  • Responsible for quality control, for all goods entering the warehouse.
  • Responsible for the balancing of physical inventory versus system inventory, this will encompass the organising and execution of physical stock counts in the warehouse.
  • Manage relevant changes arising from new product deployment/roll-outs.
  • Process accurate and timely paperwork.
  • Ensure good housekeeping at all times.
  • Ability to prioritise work and exercise good time management skills.
  • Ability to work with and update internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the deployment strategy is aligned with and supportive of the business goals.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Record of successful distribution and stock control management.
  • Preference for industry experience or exceptional experience in a comparable Industry.
  • Exceptional influence and persuasion skills will a track record of stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff directly and via matrix management.
  • Proficient in standard logistics software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
