Job Description: Merchant  On-Boarding Support

Reports to: Telesales Manager

Location: Dublin

Role Purpose

The role holder is responsible for handling boarding queries and supporting the boarding and deployment journey for integrated POS and eComm merchants.

Responsibilities

Overall

  • Provide excellent customer and technical support, you will strive for first call resolution with each case.
  • Take ownership of and manage incidents through to resolution
  • Liaise with various internal & external stakeholders and engineering groups to resolve customer queries
  • Log customer information and action to the relevant database/system

 

E-Commerce

  • Be the key person for assisting the integration between newly boarded merchants and our eCommerce solution providers
  • Providing support and knowledge on eCommerce gateway options and available plug ins.
  • Liaising with E-commerce providers and resolving on behalf of merchants any technical issues

 

ISV Merchant On-boarding &  Development

  • Provide support to the merchant across the boarding process to first transaction.
  • Work with the ISV and Merchant to ensure that the Merchant is able to link their payment capture device to the ISV app and take a transaction.
  • Understand the different processes for each ISV partner required to pair technology and proactively support a Merchant through the process.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Role suitable for a recent graduate holding a qualification in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or IT.
  • E-Commerce and technical experience is advantageous.
  • Proven resolution, logical troubleshooting, customer service and customer satisfaction skills.
  • Strong communication/listening skills.
  • Has a pleasant, patient and friendly attitude.
  • Strong decision making and analytical abilities.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality.
  • Excellent computer skills are necessary as well as the ability to solve problems and troubleshoot.
  • Ability to take ownership, organize workload and change priorities quickly.
  • Demonstrate a keen understanding of eCommerce products and solutions and provide assistance of same throughout the organization
