EVO offers end to end support from installing the point of sale device to enable secure electronic payments at a merchant, providing software solutions to enable ecommerce and then troubleshooting and resolving issues that may occur from time to time for our customers.

We are currently recruiting a Business Anaslyst / Tester to join our expanding team based in our office in Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin. This role reports to the Head of Business Anaysis.

Job Purpose:

As a Business Analyst/Tester you will gather business requirements from stakeholders and document them in Business Requirements Documents. You will also ensure high quality by performing testing activities to confirm that software developed meets the acceptance criteria for the user.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders
  • Present requirements to business and technical stakeholders and collaborate to identify a suitable solution
  • Document and execute test plans and test cases
  • Track and report on execution of test plans
  • Support key stakeholders in identification and resolution of issue in test and production environments
  • Present at project status meetings and help drive project deliverables
  • Continuously improve processes and tools
  • Ensure that the team delivers high quality solutions on time and that it meets client and user business needs
  • Ensure high quality by performing testing activities to confirm that solutions developed meets acceptance criteria for the user

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Previous experience as business analyst (requirements gathering and documentation on technical projects) and as a tester (creating an execturing test plans)
  • Passion for continuous improvement
  • Evidence of strong academic achievement

Requirements

  • Self-starter with a passion for quickly learning and implementing new concepts
  • Leadership and collaborative interpersonal skills to engage and motivate team members
  • Strong relationship building and communications skills with ability to present ideas and concepts coherently to senior stakeholders
  • Ability to own and manage content with responsibility for ensuring it is up to date
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented with good organisational skills (organising meetings/calls and coordinating activities)
  • Proactive approach to handling issues, risks, dependencies and escalations
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, work with schedules, manage resources while remaining focused on team goals

Qualifications:

  • Relevant 3rd level honours degree
